Does EE offer a public ip (I thought BT does), is BT and EE the same company now? I am a bit confusing now. also if not IPv4, do you have IPv6 public ip?

I mean we need a public ip address to do port forward and access I think? so I guess it is my circumstances. Now if the router doesn't support,

not really, it is about the public ip with that I can host a server? and I have my own router, would you mind guiding us how to set things up with own router please?

In Using & Configuring a Third Party Router you'll find everything you need to set up your router incl. the BB PPPoE creds. which are now the same as BT's.

I don't understand why you keep on about a public IP. Of course, you always get a public IP. You wouldn't be able to get on the Internet without one, regardless of whether you needed to Port Forward or not. Everybody is given a public IP when they go on the Internet. Your public IP is issued to you by your ISP from blocks of IPs that it holds & has registered with a central registration authority, the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA).

That is incorrect. If they use CGNAT you would not be able to access a self hosted server from outside your network without work arounds, you are assigned a private Ip and share public Ip with other users.

But, @Blair287 : EE doesn't employ CGNET on its Home BB network. So you do get a unique (sticky dynamic) public IP which could be addressed from outside.
