I would just like to say, never ever swap from BT broadband to EE broadband,

I have been with BT broadband forever and never once had a problem with the speed, I got talked into joining EE broadband, worst thing I ever done, the speed I get now is absolutely dire, I have to turn off My home EE broadband and use my phone as a hotspot to get anything other than nothing speeds, please do not swap overto EE broadband, worst thing I ever done, and I’m going to pay to get out of this contract as it is unusable, please be warned

Which EE BB plan are you on including its speed? What EE router do you have (read its label)?

@Snowwolf1  Have you spoken to customer support about this issue ?

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

no I have not spoken to customer services, I had such an utter nightmare two months ago when I swapped to EE, I really don’t fancy another three weeks of talking to customer services to get things sorted, I’m going to pay you to get out of this contract and go somewhere else, hopefully back to BT

It’s fibre 50 all rounder, the router is my old BT router

EE internet -  It's absolute garbage.

Here is my sad story...and it continues. https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/TV/Appalling-service-No-access-to-online-account-buffering-and/td-p/15...

I received a letter from BT about an upgrade to Full Fibre 900. The letter made no mention of EE anywhere, so I would argue that it is actually a scam. This is the same reason I haven't changed bank in nearly 40 years. If it aint broke, don't fix it. If you're reading this and considering switching to EE for your broadband, and you don't heed this advice, I have a bridge to sell you.

@JimM11

Hi, yes, I missed that. Love this bit...

"You can choose to move to new EE when you’re ready.  We recommend moving to new EE because you’ll benefit from even better connectivity in and out of the home".

As far as I'm concerned it was a scam.
