Delayed connection from Open Reach

Has anyone else had problems with switch over to fibre? After watching the telegraph pole go up outside my house with cables connected between the other poles in the street I selected the switch from BT to EE on February 23rd 2025. Since then each time I contact customer services I am told the problem is with Open Reach and to expect an update 7 days later. This has happened 4 weeks running from may 8th. Now June 2nd.

@steve460   There is still a lot of work to complete after you see fibre on the pole, it needs to be connected at the exchange and from there onwards to ISP systems.

If you enter your phone number, or if you don't have one use the address checker, enter your Post Code then from the drop down find your address, once it says WBC FTTP then you should be able to order full fibre.
