Latest update on voicemail
Customer support said EE was considering allowing voicemail to be disabled ( believe that if you will, the software already exists, Its just company policy to disable it)
This marks the start of the 8 week period before contacting the ombudsman
Discussion has started with AgeUK and Watchdog
I also notice a bbc article that the government funded 5bn to move landlines to broadband. Which means you pay for it through your taxes and the high monthly price. So I recommend your inform your local MP about EEs poor customer service

I should have said the reason the 8 weeks have started is that EE closed the case as resolved, instead of allowing voicemail to be disabled

@strangerover Why not do another complaint and have it worded that it should not be closed until the Voicemail is completely disabled and functioning as you want per the request.

The complaint was "I was not able to disable voicemail"
Customer said thats correct and they were considering enabling this feature.
How else can I phrase it ?

@strangerover "I was not able to disable voicemail" and with "this complaint should not be closed until the Voicemail is completely disabled and functioning as per the request either disabled by EE direct or have the ability for the Customer to do so. Please allow for one week to test the operation and then will be confirmed."

You also may have to be aware of any other (( None functioning Now )) that get's disabled as part of this single request.

This is not any easy request and you do not know what all the Legal ramifications are so i would advise some caution with so.

That's interesting, why are you aware of future features that will no longer function?

@strangerover You have jumped into a post that was established, enquired about over a year ago, and not even sure if this was the actual posting, so go look for yourself. EE Finally dug there heels in and said NO.

There company policy and for them to decide.
