Is anyone else having DNS problems over BB? Started a few weeks ago.
Examples include Youtube comments slow to load.
Youtube video thumbnails slow to load.
When I switch to 5G the problem goes away.
Router was restarted when the problem was at its worst. Fixed the problem at the time with the NowTV stick not playing youtube. Router had been up 30 days at the time (not very long)
BB Speed seams fine

@AndyPK Are you still running your EE Plus on the connection, FW update was all about a month ago now so see the pinned post for those details.

I'll have a look thanks. I now recall the problem started 30 July

When I said 5G (I mean mobile SIM connection)
So it looks like the firmware update has caused the issue. Being done sometime after 28 July

@AndyPK Did you look at the pinned post, this is a new posting from EE explaining what is getting all done, and yes the DNS was touched but although the FW does appear to still have a few oops on it that may just not be what your issue is. Linked it below for you. The date unfortunately is not written in stone but does give the general period EE start's to shove it out.
Do the EE CS text HELP to 66033 and see if they find anything, or stick it off for a little while and see if the hub paths differently with a new wan IP and possible different DNS Server.

Try switching the DNS in the router, under Advanced > My Network > IPv4 Config > DNS Servers, away from EE's Auto ones to Manual with 1 of these public DNS pairs:
OpenDNS : 208.67.222.222 & 208.67.220.220 Google DNS: 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4
Cloudflare DNS 1.1.1.1 & 1.0.0.1

well I thought it had sorted itself this morning, but no!
Will try and change the numbers. Thought I was going to have to use the damm App for a moment

@AndyPK - I've seen enough comment round these parts to suggest that IPv6 is getting in an odd state on some hubs following the last firmware update and IPv6 failures would broadly fit the symptoms you're describing.
Couple of things you can try: -
