Hi, I've been with BT Broadband for 15 years so last week I renewed contract for broadband and added on tv. This is now with EE but I'm having a nightmare with it so phoned to cancel and renew with Sky. They said phone sky and see what they offer...so I did.
Sky offered a much better deal son I went with it Phoned ee to cancel which was fine as I'm only on day 8 of cooling off period but they couldn't cancel as Sky has taken the transfer of the line, which won't complete until the 9th May. Now the 9th May will be out of my cooling period so where will I stand? Anyone been in this situation?
Ps I'm going to phone EE tomorrow to ask for a confirmation that I'm cancelling on day 8

@Kimbly45 : As long as you informed EE within the 14-day cooling-off period that you are moving to Sky you should be OK. Get confirmation from EE in writing.

The cooling off period is only for having the company informed so you will be fine. I would expect you have had a sorry you're leaving email from EE
