My 97 year old mother’s router is just flashing orange. Have tried switching off and removing plug for 3 minutes and also doing a reset with the same result. Cannot use my mobile to phone EE on 03301231105 as they only then want to communicate by text and assume that we have the problem which needs fixing. There doesn’t seem to be any other way of communicating with EE. She has no way of communicating as her mobile isn’t responding either and she cannot cope with using it to make calls anyway. Not long switched to EE in order to preserve a landline but seriously fed up with the difficulties of accessing a real person. Maybe the only solution is to switch providers. Never had a problem contacting PlusNet previously. Any ideas please?

@DC1606 Sticky one, just not know what was all done prior to the PN to EE move, if copper is the issue then for sure move over to the FF full Fibre, i have had zero issues on that connection type, but NO longer an EE customer and my Landline is with another voip provider, so far touch wood had zero issues on that.
Edit:- added the OR on the day video so take the look when you get a minute.

Thanks everyone. Engineer said looked like someone mowing the grass where the cabinet is (corner of the road) had cut a wire!

Just one other gripe: what’s the point of using a pass key if they still have to send a code to a mobile? All it does is save having to get an emailed number as well.

@DC1606 Double security one thinks, are you asked every time, i get it random 90% passkey then thrown in the mix passkey followed or either sent to phone code to input. You just get used to it!!!
