Anyone know if you can connect the Smart WiFi Plus Device's to the Pro Hub?

@snoston The answer would be more than likely no, they operate different, but there is a smart wireless device designed for the Pro range.

The devices are not intended to be cross-compatible. I also doubt it would work given that the Smart Hub Pro is using 6GHz for wireless backhaul and the Smart WiFi Plus extenders are 2.4/5.0GHz only.

I have been scouring the internet trying to find a solution and I think I have found one. I had the smart hub plus with 2 x smart WiFi plus units and took delivery of the smart hub pro yesterday. After setting it up, all seemed ok with just one extender but this morning going to do some work my laptop would not connect to the WiFi unless I moved closer to the hub, I was 2 meter short or my desk before it cut off, i needed another extender. I thought, no way am I buying one just yet, i connected a the plus extender via lan cable and it showed up on the app, great, unplugged it and put it where it used to be in the back of the house it wouldn’t connect. I reset it and tried to connect it by wsp button, all I got was an aqua flashing light. I reset it again and paired it through the app and it connected (solid aqua light) I tried the test as part of the pairing process and it failed but the light stayed aqua. I moved it back to its spot, the light went solid and has been happily working for a couple of hours now.

@TheBear1001 If you get a chance can you confirm the equipment, Pro Router, ? Pro smart wireless? and that you are using ONE of the Plus smart wireless devices that has connected??

@JimM11 yes, I can confirm I have the new smart hub pro with a smart WiFi pro and I connected a smart WiFi plus booster to it. It doesn’t show up on the app as a device but it has extended my WiFi signal, as my laptop couldn’t connect but now it does. The smart WiFi plus booster has a solid aqua light on it.

@JimM11 I will add that I don’t know if I get the full benefits of it but I just needed it extended so it works for me.

@TheBear1001 Just asking the question as it is the + Smart wireless devices are alleged to only work on the EE Smarthub+ range of routers, but if you got it working with the EE Pro range then good on you!

During my migration, I, at one point had 2 Plus extenders and 2 Pro extenders all working with the Pro Hub.
However the App and Hub Manager both got all confused and displayed a random one of the four as a copy of one of the other three.
