Connected to router but no internet. Repeat, repeat, repeat

I am at my wits end. If it's not one device it's another, the same old 'no internet'. Sky Q is the worst and I had to disable settings in the Sky box to make sure it didn't go into standby, I mean why should I? Other devices such as Alexa, Hive, Google TV, Firestick, Android tables, Android phones all have the same repeating issue. Resetting devices and router often every day is not an expected level of service. I will defo be leaving EE as soon as I can. What are the permanent fix solutions as i can't find any having done all the stuff recommended. It just goes on and on and on.

@TonyBaker The Forum has no Idea what you have done or not, but if you are on any off the later EE Hubs are you connected on the Main or the Compatible network, your symptoms do head towards WPA3-T security type problems...

Older or weaker devices may not be compatible with the default WiFi settings of EE Smart Hubs. Try setting up Compatible WiFi on the router under Advanced > Wireless Settings > Config > Compatible WiFi (it defaults to 2.4 GHz & WPA2) & connect your problematic 2.4 GHz devices to that.

Hi @TonyBaker

Which router do you have.

Try downloading https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vrem.wifianalyzer

You can check your WiFi coverage in certain areas.

Thanks

@TonyBaker

Have you got a smart central heating boiler on hive or wifi link ?  I've just seen a post on one of the forums where it was interfering with the router the wifi being on the same frequency.  I thought it was worth mentioning ?

I've tried all options. problem just continues

I have done this on older kit but expect my 5ghz Google TV adapter to connect away from compatible. Also my Sky Q box is a **bleep**. If I don't leave it permanently ON (no standby) it ends up with me resetting both box and router.... then something else is not connecting to the internet.

Thanks

yes I have Hive and I have Blink Camera and doorbell system.  These things were fine before this router. I expected the router to be smarter!!!

The router is SH30A

Cheers

Router is SH30A

Thanks

@TonyBaker So it's the EE Smarthub 6 Plus version with the 1Gb/s wan interface, and Compatible network may just be the way to go with it on the WPA2-PSK wireless securities settings, will suffer with the Ethernet 30 second delay for connection and you may find if your Hive is Ethernet connected that will cause you an issue, only way past that is to throw a switch on one off the Ethernet ports to keep the instant connection. Is your sky Q also Ethernet connected?
