Go into hub manager. Turn off the 2.4GHz band for Main WiFi and save. Then go into Compatible WiFi turn off 5ghz band then give a new network name for the 2.4GHz band and select security type WPA2- Personal and  add a new password and save.

@JeffT50 The EE Smarthub+ does not get the compatible wi-fi settings until the latest version of FW is applied to the router, so not everyone will have that feature as yet.

How do I go into hub manager

@Matty1box If one off the latest EE Hubs, then web manager is https://192.168.1.254 to get there.

@Matty1box : Login to your EE Smart Hub/Router at http://192.168.1.254 with the admin password on the bottom of the slider label on the back of the router.

@JeffT50  That’s not separating the bands that’s creating a compatible WiFi connection.

You can have both ie 2.5 and 5Ghz and a compatible bandwidth all at the same time.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
