Confused BT customer!

Hey folks, so I am a BT customer, and have just recieved a smarthub 3 and moved to full fiber. Graet, all working, no problems.

However, I want to look at my account details. I log in to BT, and all it does is try and sell me an upgrade.
I come over to EE, log in, then attempt to log in to bt through ee and I get an error page.

So no matter where I look, I cannot seem to find anything to control my broadband and see the package I am currently on.

Can anyone help and tell me what I am doing wrong?

@ollyk1 First you need to find out who you are with, BT Customer or an EE Customer, Suspect you may be EE but you would be better to say what EE Smarthub you have. See the link below pictures will show you the current EE Ones!

Hi Jim, thanks for getting back to me. So it is an EE smarthub (big black thing fed by the small fiber converter via ethernet cable), but I did this through BT retentions... It's just not been terribly clear though!

I can still log into bt internet, but my EE has a seperate login. I found the link to log into my BT account on the EE page and that is where the problems seem to stem from?

Thanks

@ollyk1 If you have an EE Smarthub+ or a EE Smarthub(2023) that was sent to you then likely BT have transfered you over to an EE account so you are NO longer a BT customer! You BT account will stay open so you can see your old bills but that is all.

The EE Router may have kept all your old BT Router name and password when you set it all up, that is all.

You would now have an EE account and an EE ID, so not sure what you were told and what you have to do to get into that account. Think you would be better to call and find that out be speaking to them!

You will have to download the EE app to control the EE Router now, your old MyBT app will not do anything to let you see the EE Router to control it! See if any off the two links below are off any use.

Neither BT nor EE have a Smart Hub 3. Which router & WiFi extenders, if any, do you have (read label or post a pix)? What is the name of the EE BB plan are you on including its speed?

Even if you have been moved to EE, you will still have access to your BT a/c if you retain BT eMail with them.
