I have EE's Full Fibre package and hadn't had any problems in about 10 months of service. However, for the last 24 hours (maybe longer) I am experiencing extremely slow speeds to certain sites. For example, loading a discord channel may take 4 minutes to load. The emoji panel makes dozens of requests in a short frequency and also fails to load correctly.
I do not experience this issue while connected to a VPN.
I experienced something similar on Friday using 5G (also with discord) but put that down to signal issues.
Discord is not the only site that is affected. I host some public services on a remote server (Germany) and use CloudFlare proxy in front of these. Speed issues are also apparent for these, which again, do not reproduce when using a VPN. In fact, if I edit /etc/hosts to bypass CloudFlare's proxy, everything loads instantly. Note, that Discord also uses CloudFlare.
While it's possible the issue is my end, e.g. my router, Friday's issue while on mobile has me wondering if there's some issue between EE and CloudFlare? There appears to be severe throttling where the first several requests are fine and any subsequent requests are exponentially slower to send/receive.
I've also encountered similar while pulling images from docker hub and github container registry (although I do not believe either use CloudFlare).

yeah im new to this issue, only started today and ive only been on full fibre for 2 days, it was only when i upgraded to FF that it started so im still in the "gathering statistics and noticing trends" phase of diagnosis

I am still having significant issues here. It's been really bad the last couple of days where things like Discord won't even load and general browsing has been incredibly slow.

How are things looking now guys?
I've had word that a change may have been made to mitigate.

Still having some issues here. Strange as now it only seems to be affecting some cloudflare proxied sites. Doesn't seem to be the sites themselves though as they load fast on 5g.

It's actually worse today for me.
Hope EE/Cloudflare can sort this asap

I just had a lovely chap calling through from the Complaint I put through.
He didn’t seem to fully understand what the issue is about so I‘m not fully hopeful that they will be able to resolve the issue, but I hope that the amount of complaints they get through about this will be enough to make them actually notice that something is wrong.
This time around, the issue is worse than it was a couple of weeks back, to the point where Discord is borderline unusable for me.

Yep it is definitely worse for me today with most Cloudflare sites failing to load at all this time rather than extremely slowly.

Exact same. Today is unbareable with almost all services and sites I'm using failing to load at all. This needs to be fixed urgently.

I have just received an email from EE, where they tell me:
I have had a chat with one of our technical experts and he has sadly advised there is not much we can do to fix this issue from our end.
He advised the only work around we have at the minute for you would be to keep using a VPN as you said earlier but apart from that there is not much else that can be done from our end.
Well, I guess I need to look for another ISP again

Absolute turd reply from EE.
These issues will never get up the chain because sadly 1st and 2nd line support agents have no contact details to the people in the back end and their managers will probably never deal with technical issues like these so will fob them off with 'nothing we can do'.
