I had a problem with my broadband because of a fault with the hub which needed to be replaced.
My landline telephone also wouldn’t work for more than a week while I waited for the engineer to come. As I had wanted to keep it for emergency contact it was a problem, also we sometimes have power cuts meaning it couldn’t be used if that happens. I would now like to cancel this part of my contract, is this possible free of charge please (because there isn’t a guaranteed reliable service)?

@Frances-H You should be able to remove the landline service from your package, to do so though you will have to call EE CS and have it done, if your phone is back in action dial 150 to get through to EE CS, best to catch them quickly is just after 8.30am when they open.

Yes, the phone plan is only on a monthly contract. You may cancel it at any time by calling CS.

Thank you for your reply.
I have now cancelled the landline part of my EE broadband and phone package and was refunded some money as it took longer than it expected because of a problem.
The last person I spoke to from EE was helpful and got it all sorted out.
