Can’t access Apple services on home broadband

Pablo671

As the title really, about 3 months ago everyone at the address stopped being able to log in to any apple system, send messages via imessage or updates etc on any apple device.

It works fine if I use a VPN, which is a pain. Also works fine on other WiFi and on 4G.

My kids devices can’t be managed because they can’t connect to apple, which means they’re all getting unlimited screen time and more the filters aren’t working.

I have tried a reset on the router and also a different router which makes me think it’s deeper than the home setup. Maybe an online setting for blocking certain websites?

any ideas would be gratefully received!

Hi @Pablo671

Welcome to the community.

I agree with @JimM11, it is worth having a look at the broadband settings in the EE app by going to Manage then Broadband.

If there is nothing there that you can notice, or it doesn't make a difference, I'd recommend calling our broadband guides so they can look into this further for you.

@Pablo671 Cannot believe that you have waited and lived with this for 3 months only to report it now! Looks like parental controls or the filter for the age need to go find that from a posting you may need to look at think it is safe search. No longer an EE Customer so cannot look for you!
