Can someone tell me the specs for the "EE wireless router" I'll be recieving?

Just signed up for fibre/broadband today, but forgot to ask the nice lady what the "EE wireless router" has in the way of specs. Lan ports, wireless speeds and any usb ports. If it doesn't have some of these, is there a list of supported routers that I can use instead?

Thanks.

Then it will probably be the EE Smart Hub (but might not be if you've ordered Full Fibre). Not exactly a spec but I can tell you:

  • ADSL/ADSL2+/VDSL2 Modem
  • 4 Gigabit LAN ports, 1 of which can be WAN.
  • 1 USB 3.0 port
  • Wireless: 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac 2.4 & 5 GHz bands combined but can be split.
  • Access Control features by time only.

EE only supports its own routers but your own compatible routers are allowed.

Thanks for the quick reply. If it is the smart hub, then it'll do for now.

Thanks! You're welcome 🙂 ! Glad I could be of assistance & trust it is now sorted.
