Can I switch back to BT.

About a month ago I contacted BT to ask about a second BT TV box on my account, that’s all I wanted, TV in a second room

I was told that I had to move my contract to EE and have all new equipment, and that’s when my nightmares began, the EE hasn’t been up to BT standard since day 1 and I’m losing the will to mess with it any longer.
Broadband (fibre) can run at 960mbps one minute, and 9.6 the next, making it difficult to work from home; they sent me a EE TV minibox, which is not what I wanted - it doesn’t give me all of the free to air channels - I wanted another BT Pro box (or if that isn’t possible then just say no); and the move has broken my IP TV channels - sound goes wildly out of sync and back again - even on wired connections.

Today was the last straw, trying to transfer a 2gb file across the network was running at 1mb, internally inside the house, with both computers wired direct to the EE hub.

I’ve called EE a few times and to be fair I’ve spoken to some knowledgable people who can get me working for a while, but I give up, I don’t want to be with EE any more - the people are great but the service sucks.

has anyone managed to switch back?

If you’re still within your 14 days cooling off period then cancel. If not you are stuck in the contract period sadly.
