Bt disc return.

Hi. Recently transferred from bt broadband to ee. Been asked to return the bt disc that came with the bt router. Only problem is that the router is in one of the upstairs bedrooms and the disc is need at the bottom of the stairs to ensure a good signal. I don't want to return the disc. Does anyone know if I can keep it?

@scottpick24 : What EE BB plan are you on? What router do you have? Which BT discs do you have & their colour?
