I have appointment today to get my broadband fitted in today and was wondering if it’s still going to happen

Do you already have a socket coming in from outside and have you already got the router?

Open Reach may only need to connect you at the box, so may not need to come to your home, but you may find that you may be connected tonight, otherwise I suggest ringing customer service, as this is a public forum with no access to your account.
