The bt line in my area is down, and the notification says hoping to be back up on the 20th. Why 3 dags?

@Becky_F1 because it is the weekend and it also depends what needs repairing, 3 days is nothing, several years ago it took about 3 weeks before it was fixed where I live, which impaired a whole area, but you will get compensation, worth speaking to customer service.
