@CPC52 : BB routers should be silent. Must be faulty! Call CS for a replacement.

@CPC52   which router do you have?

Whilst it is not common, there have been reports of some routers making strange noises. Make sure that the power leads are not loose, and mains lead is fully pushed home. Try switching it off for a while, even overnight and see if that helps.

But do give customer services a call and get it replaced if that does not help.
