Hi.
I am trying to change providers but it seems issues with my postcode prevent this. For some reason, multiple companies use the postcode for the road next to my property, rather than my actual postcode. Normally it's not a problem as the post still reaches me, but with broadband it is preventing me from switching. If I enter my actual postcode, it says no-one can supply me. If I enter the other postcode it says I can get broadband, but then the next page when I try to add my address, it will only give my address in the drop down for my actual post code. It also can't find my account for my existing supplier to cancel because they have my actual postcode. When/if I then get through all the way to completion, it then fails with a technical fault. Help!

@AADDERSON you need to get your current supplier to correct the address. All suppliers use the BTW DSL checker to show what can be provided. https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL In the past most people just used their phone number and not always pay attention to the address so small errors were missed.
Your supplier needs to raise an ORDI to get the information corrected.

Please check what the Royal Mail address checker gives as your correct address/postcode: https://www.royalmail.com/find-a-postcode?iid=RM0624_NAV_PERS_QL_POSTCODE
Also check the BT Wholesale broadband availability checker for both postcodes: https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome . Please post copies of both charts complete with the notes below, but remove your address from the top. Indicate which is your correct address/postcode
