Broadband and mobile discount

I am looking at getting EE broadband and a mobile contract. I can see that you get £20 off unlimited EE sims if you have broadband already. If I buy broadband, but havr to wait 30 days for it to be installed (as quoted), will i have to wait 30 days to buy my mobile sim, or can i get the discounted new sim as soon as I place an order for home boradband (even though it hasnt been installed yet)?

@harbil  I don’t think so because it has to be installed for you to have EE broadband an order doesn’t mean you have it.   Once it’s installed and you’re up and running you can order the Sim card after you’ve received the first bill
