What is this for on my bill ? "Pay as you go calls £2.80"

@westbromade Your EE bill has a charge for your broandband and a charge of £2.80 for the voice/phone service. It used to be all one price, but if you do not need to make calls you can have the phone service removed to save the cost.

It looks like a telephone landline call bill. If you use your landline a lot you can get a call package of free unlimited calls for around £11 pound a month ( if you call 150 and talk to them nicely) otherwise you may have to get a call plan but they will advise you depending on your usage what is the cheapest option for you.
