Broadband Contract and unlimited data sim card question.

DarrenKeen

Hi All.

I have got a 24 month contract with EE for unlimited data for £36 a month and since taking on that contract I have now taken fibre broadband to my home, this I have seen can come with a cheaper unlimited data sim deal because I have got BB.

Can I change my Contract to the new deal with my broadband? or am I locked into the £36 a month unlimited data deal I have already got?

Thanks in advance for any replies / advice.

Your existing contract does not benefit from Multi Product Benefits as it's already boosted to unlimited data. You can however buy additional unlimited data SIMs for £10 pm.

Are you on SIMO? If so, and you have had your Sim deal for over 6 months or been with EE for over 6 months it could be worth going to your local EE store or calling 150 and asking if they can upgrade you to a Multi Product Benefit tariff. Can be done in some circumstances on existing SIM deals, but it's somewhat luck of the draw depending on your current tariff.
