Hello,
Any help is greatly appreciated.
My blink doorbell camera will not connect to the EE hub. This is extremely frustrating. On the router I've disabled 5 GHz, turned off ipv6 and connected the blink sync module to the EE compatible network which is supposed to support older devices.
Nothing seems to be working. I was previously on Plusnet, my EE speed is slower than what I had on Plusnet, I'm on a 2 year contract with EE that ends in 2027.
I can't even go out and buy another doorbell camera because most support ipv4.
I've read quite a few posts and implemented suggestions, I called EE support, no jọy. I can't believe I'm losing such a vital service because the EE hub won't pick up the camera
Thanks

Hi @TSure01
I would try in comparability mode and normally:

Thanks for the speedy response.
I don't have details of the old router, I moved to EE earlier this year. The weird thing is the blink doorbell connected ok, the battery ran down. I replaced the battery, no joy. I'm now on my 3rd new blink doorbell camera.
I'll try the password update you mentioned to see if that makes a difference.
Thanks again

Hi @TSure01
In comparability mode on your router. When connecting are you connected to the same WiFi network on your phone if using the app.
How far is the door camera from the hub. Can you move it closer temporarily.
Which EE hub do you have.
Thanks

Thanks for staying on top of this. I finally got it working. All it needed was a new sync module for the doorbell. I have 2 sync modules now, one for gen2 devices and the other for gen4.
However, I still don't understand why I couldn't connect the older style doorbell camera on sync module 2.
Anyways, it works, 2.4 / 5 Ghz is enabled on the EE router, so all good.
Thanks again
