BT to EE Broadband migration

Placed an order to migrate from BT Broadband and Mobile to EE last night.  The online process failed so had to phone the contact centre to get things sorted out.  The only email I have received is the contract summary, I don’t have anything confirming the order with an order number and no details of my EE broadband ID etc.

I logged into MyBT and I can see the order there.  It looks more like a BT Broadband order - “Broadband with complete wifi” but does state “migration” and the equipment list looks like the EE hardware.  In the order summary it lists the product as “eejson.broadband.product_name.FibrewithHalo1 - Complete Wi-Fi2” but that is the only reference to “ee” which I can find.

I can see from reading other posts in this community that some customers have had issues with this migration process but can anyone confirm if what I am seeing is normal?  Should I have received some other emails or broadband ID etc. by now?

Thanks.

I have had the same issue,  swapped my BT broadband to EE, I have had no email confirming it. I can not login to the app or website.  It's not very good at all.

I just rang EE/BT and they are saying everything is OK with the order.  The order is placed on the BT system which is why it appears in MyBT but I won’t see anything on the EE side until the service is live.  I don’t have much confidence in it but for now I guess I will have to wait and see.  Broadband is due to go live 8th August.  Mobile sims should arrive soon (migrating from BT mobile to EE) so will check if I can see the EE mobile service once we swap the SIMs over.

Had a few texts this morning with a track order link to ee.co.uk which shows both mobile and broadband orders.  Maybe I just needed to be patient 🤞

What do you mean by your EE BB ID? If you mean the BB PPPoE Username/pwd, it is the same as BT's: bthomehub@btbroadband.com /BT or blank?

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

yeah you are right, forgot about that.  It was the contact centre rep who used that term and said I would get an email.  He probably just meant the EE account.
