BT Smart Hub 2 wifi disc.

Since BT switched us over to Full Fibre Digital when we had to sign agree the rules and were switched to a new contract. Our wifi is a complete waste of time. Unable to download, print or even recieve any messages that require wifi upstairs it is total waste. No longer have our wireless security cameras either. We have given up with BT and wish we could walk away but is too expensive to canel the contract. Along with many others in the area now have all sorts of problems with BT. We were not even able to dial out on our landline during most of July. Need to obtain some wifi disc`s but have to switch over to more expensive contract. Do not appear to be able to buy these from elsewhere.  Means new contract @£19.99 more a month. Any idea where I can buy these disc`s and if they will work.

Which router do you have?

If your BB is with BT you should be asking on the BT Community.

Same issue for me. I've moved from BT to EE, keeping my BT Smart Hub 2 which i did question. I've only been with EE for a matter of weeks and been in touch via the chat a few times. It seemed to settle for week, but currently working from home on wifi and i can't be any closer to the hub, yet i'm losing connection and getting kicked out of Teams calls. Ran speed test and down to 12mb, when i'm meant to be on full fibre!!!! In nearly 10 years with BT, probably 2 minor issues.

@TonyGunk : Is your issue the same as OP's? You also want to know where to get BT WiFi disks & whether they work?

I have had numerous calls and chats with BT. On the last call back i was then transferred over from BT to EE sales. They then offered a package to sort out and fix the Wifi problem but at an increase of £19.99 per month. I was out walking and all sorts of packages were quoted to me as an alternative. I requested this be sent over by email but to date that hasn`t arrived. That was Saturday  27thJuly.

I ma less than 10 ft from the Hub and still unable to download BBC NEWS or emails.

So, isn't your BB still with BT after all that?

@Luke2521 Are you a BT broadband or a EE broadband customer? Which router do you have?

Hello JimM11 Currently both BT and EE customer. Landline and Full Fibre Broadband with BT and mobile with EE. Just installed new Smart Hub 2 due to landline failing to work and rubbish wifi since BT switched us over to Digital Voice. Now no printer connection, wifi cameras or door bell as well as spasmodic failure to downloading BBC news or some emails on a daily basis. Given up with BT. Now trying to fix this ourselves by buying Wifi Disc extenders. Only appear to be on Ebay or a few on Amazon. Some most cerftainly sell anything on the sites. Even identical rating and names so struggling to find a disc.
