It’s literally been only 6 hours since broadband got fitted and it’s already down? What awful service is this? And the app is down too I can’t message to find out what’s wrong, not a good first impression is it EE?

@KMDABOSS Unless the app was down at that period you were checking who knows, at 7.22am when i checked reading your post, app is working just now.🙄

The app is working for me now too, it wasn’t working at the time when I wrote that message, but wifi is still down and it wasn’t working fitted literally yesterday, engineer was rude and just started doing his own thing, got a ladder and started fitting things on without making me aware that he’s arrived. Unprofessional behaviour.

I am on full fibre 500 essential plan, and the router is a smart hub plus, it was working for about 6-7 hours yesterday after being set up, roughly at 12:30 am it just stopped working and started flashing orange.

@KMDABOSS Does happen at times, outside part of the installation CAN go ahead without user intervention, and totally agree with you especially if you had/have a better idea to what you want, kicked the OR contractor out when he came to do my FTTP install, NOT a clue, easiest option which was to be a complete nightmare, knocked the install back 21 day's and OR came, which i did insist on, they did an excellent job, in/out 30 mins, all done and dusted with zero problems. Hope you get connected soon, when is your activation/go live date!?

@KMDABOSS What's you red error light on the ONT? PON error, fibre is down, until you get rid you will have no BB, time to call EE CS and find out why? Power of the ONT modem leave a minute power it back on and see if you can get back to 3 green led's.

Yh they’re doing the same with me unfortunately, they made me wait a whole month first before setting up wifi, then when it was finally set up the engineer who came to fix the wifi was absolutely rude and unprofessional, had to force myself not to deal with him myself, 4 hours after wifi being set up it went down randomly and my smart hub + started flashing orange, now they’ve cancelled literally 3 appointments in a row in the span of 3 days, now I have another booked for Friday. I don’t know what I was thinking before signing up with EE, worse mistake of my life, i certainly won’t be giving a penny until this is all sorted. This is an absolute joke.

@KMDABOSS why did it take so long to set up your WiFi? What’s wrong with your WiFi that you need an engineer from Openreach involved, as they don’t deal with WiFi issues. Better speak to EE Customer Service for your WiFi issues.

Because they didn’t have an engineer available to set up the WiFi? I ordered new wifi on 10th December and it was set up on the 13th of January, and the issue isn’t with the signal, the issue is with the wiring, the previous engineer left it all loose and in a mess, he was so unprofessional he didn’t even fix the new ones like they’re suppose to from outside the home, nor did he screw the box. Both EE and open reach are blaming one another meanwhile I am missing out on wifi which I need because I work from home, my siblings do uni and college work, my dad has cancer and we can’t even do his applications from home because we are applying for PIP etc we have to go to a friends home. This is absolute terrible service from EE.
