Hi,
I am having trouble getting information from EE. I have placed an order for broadband and they have cancelled. Looking at the account it says Auto Cease order and says I have cancelled. I haven’t cancelled. Any idea what this means. They have been very unhelpful so far. I was promised a call on Friday but they never called back. I am doing a one touch switch from Talk Talk.
thanks
John

What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker > Address Checker estimate for your address? Post the whole table, the text below it and the line above it, blanking out your address.

No sign of a Cease Order there.
What type of BB did you have with TT?

It’s the Fibre 65 with the old phone line.
thanks

@Johnf621 As your home is now available for a FF Full Fibre connection type to remove your old FTTC copper connection as an upgrade, is there anything that would RED flag you from that, such as medical equipment, monitoring systems etc currently on your phone line connection if in use?
Looks like your pole top is ready for the Full Fibre connection and 1 stage installation.

Hi, no medical equipment or monitoring on the line. I’m frustrated as the people I talk to online just say they’ll place another order. I think the same will happen again. This is the second order so far. Both cancelled.
thanks
John

@Johnf621 EE should be able to tell you who is not accepting it, if EE side or the OR side, not sure if TT can be doing anything as the gaining provider has all the control which in your case is EE, have you had any e-mail notification at all when the switch is tried from TT saying for example we see that you have requested EE to take over the connection etc?
The whole object of the OTS if in your case it is working correctly, is you only contact EE and do the OTS, then run through all the checks etc, and contact TT to be sure that the line exist's to take over both Broadband and Landline if you are doing both at the same time, landline can be dropped if it is not an essential requirement to be taken and transferred to EE.
The fact that FF is available to your address as per the BTW you posted, then you will be upgraded connection wise from the copper to fibre, as OR are doing so and trying as much as possible to get the copper lines gone.

Yeah Talk Talk have accepted I’m leaving. On my TT account it says I’m leaving so not them. I think it must be OpenReach as EE gave me an activation date but I have never received any contact from OR.
thanks

@Johnf621 Openreach conformation does come a few day's later with them saying we will be switching as requested by EE etc, so you may just be correct that OR have an issue getting it all done.
