Anyone got problem on accessing apple music, LG apps etc via EE broadband?

Data is ok (e.g. netflix streaming) but seems something was blocked by EE.

It happened to me few days ago, at first I think its dns issue. Try changing it from auto to google dns 8.8.8.8 but doesn't help. If I disconnect the wifi using my mobile hotspot everything works fine, TV, mac etc. Unlucky it seems very hard to get EE's support but only here... appreciate if anyone can give hints.

Hi @stepw  they work fine for me.

Which router do you have and where did you change DNS?

Do you have a  PC or Laptop you can use to ping or tracert to the end points?

I'm using the router provided by EE. DNS setting - changed it under IPv4 setting. Don't know how to ping or trace as I am using apple music app... quite a lot of apps doesn't work..

EE have supplied numerous routers over the years - I have no idea which one it may have been.

IPV4 settings where?

You are not giving me any details, , so all I can suggest is you switch it all off for 30 secs and try again, Or call the Broadband Care Team in the morning when they are open.

DNS being configured under IPv4 Settings indicates an EE Smart Hub or Router, which are almost the same. All OP has to do is read off the label.

Thanks @XRaySpeX  already asked the laptop/pc question, Seems they are a Mac user,  I believe the same can be done with those, but it is not something I use.

@Mustrum : Just reiterating your unanswered Q! iMac equivalents are ping & traceroute.

Hi, its the EE so called 'smart' router for fibre users. With a factory default on the router and no settings at all I connect to the router and same result, services are being block for my line line apple music. Did a test, connect my surfshark vpn on my mac, than connect apple music it works!

The above test can prove its not my settings issue right? Please help to solve the problem ASAP as its quite disappointed for paying £65 per month but getting this.

This problem happened to my other window PC, some services are not able to use e.g. my son playing roblox suddenly it's being blocked. My LG TV can't get their service (got a new TV and can't download their service agreement and apps, after I connect my hotspot it works fine!).
