Apologies, I must be blind. Surely there is a simple link to the 'chat' option.. i cant seem to find a way to ask EE a question, so if I'm in the wrong place, I apologise..
Question..
Is it possible to order an ee broadband package to start on a specific date, (just for example) say 35 days from now. Virgin media requires 30 days notice, I doubt they would give the exact cutoff date people ask for so I'm trying to avoid as little juggling around as possible nearer the time..
Any advice / info would be greatly appreciated 🙂 a quick link to chat to members of staff would be good too 🙂
thanks for reading

Normally it takes about 2 weeks to go live from ordering. It might be a bit more in your case as you won't already have a BT landline.
When you order online I don't think you are given the opportunity of specifying a specific date but after you order you can phone CS & agree a date.
Don't forget that it is for you to cancel VM as they are not part of the auto migration process. If you give them 30-days notice they must terminate your contract after 30 days as long as it is beyond your min. term.
There is no Live Chat for BB.

Thanks, that helped. I'll wait a week after cancelling vm to order ee bb then. I can live without service for a few days if need be, I'm just looking to avoid 'overlap' on top of set up charges 🙂
For future ref, is there a link to live chat (generally) anywhere on the website? I'm sure it used to pop up.. or is that just on the sales side of things?
Apologies, I rarely use these services.. Thanks again, kind regards

Mobile contract users would click on "Contact EE" above & follow, e.g., A/c & Billing > Mobile Phone > 'Start conversation' button.
Thanks! You're welcome 🙂 ! Glad I could be of assistance & it is now sorted.
