I have EE wifi.
I have not been able to log my Amazon Toshiba Fire TV to EE wifi as there is EE cookies message which does not show fully. It says click ok if you accept cookies. Nothing happens. This is preventing me from logging into EE wifi for the first time on this tv. It says scroll down etc to click ok on the cookies box, but nothing happens when I click ok. My phone is on EE wifi and that is fine. The Amazon fire tv is registered on my Amazon account. It is just the cookies box with white background that will not move, so preventing me from logging in. It also says connect to EE wifi but not connected to the internet. Yet I can connect to the internet on my phone.

I just noticed about the sleeping reference and that it was not aimed at me.
Sorry.
I thought it was odd you saying about sleeping to me. 😄
I have not been able to edit the relevant messages. I was hoping to just for the sake of others who might be reading. @Garethrprice
Thank you.

Perfect. Will do.
Just to clarify @Garethrprice @XRaySpeX I am not on EE. My mobile is not on EE either.
Sorry to ask @Garethrprice. you mention a SIM being insterted. I am not, as I say on EE. So will this EE mobile wireless router work with no other EE service in the home?
Thank you @Garethrprice

Hi @Garethrprice , @XRaySpeX , @Mustrum
I have just been looking at wireless routers on EE on the link that @Garethrprice sent before.
I am struggling to choose a wireless router.
Reason-being they mention data and topping up data.
I have no idea at all, how much data a TV will require or what the various options on wireless routers on EE pages (please see photos attached) mean at all.
Can somebody please help me on this.
I do not want to be in a position where I have to top up data and incur extra charges.
Can someone possibly recommend a wireless router for a flat.
Please.
Thank you.

There’s a link below to a page which will help you work out how much you might need. Obviously the best choice would be unlimited if you use the tv a lot, want to watch in HD as opposed to SD, or download movies or programs. You would not incur top up data charges with unlimited, in theory, though some providers have a “Fair Use Policy” I have seen mention of 800GB to 1000GB a month being bandied around as “Fair Use Limit”, but I have no way of verifying that as I’ve been on unlimited fixed landline connection for many years now. It also comes down to what you would be prepared to pay on a monthly contract, obviously Unlimited is going to be a higher price than say a data cap of 100, 200, 300 GB etc a month.
(Ignore the boxes which give links to BT Full Fibre 300 and BT Fibre 2. These are fixed line broadband deals)

Where are you seeing those pages? Linky please? Not a mention of 4G or 5G, the mobile network technologies. You are looking at fixed Home BB routers which would require probably drilling.
From their headers you are looking at https://store.ee.co.uk , the online shop of the High St EE retail stores rather than on https://ee.co.uk , the main online shop of EE that @Garethrprice gave you.
At the online shop of the High St EE retail stores you should be using the Filter "Mobile Hotspot".

@Karen207 : By looking on https://store.ee.co.uk you will see devices being sold outright w/out a SIM and on the assumption that you will be using a PAYG SIM. Hence the talk of topping up data.
By looking at @Garethrprice 's link, EE Mobile Broadband | 4G & 5G Broadband & Wifi | EE you will see devices being sold under 1 or 2 year contracts where you choose a suitable monthly data plan.
