does anyone know if it’s possible to get the 1.6g service without the router and other bits?
i have no need for an isp sub standard router or wifi access points and my firewall and switch are already connected at 10g with a wan port that can take up to 10g

No way to order the service without the equipment being provided also, you could just store it safely until your service ends in the future and they ask for it back.
As a consumer focused service, the EE hardware is provided on all new orders and customer support is set up around this.
Find instructions here on using your own equipment: https://ee.co.uk/help/broadband/getting-started/using-and-configuring-a-third-party-router

Hi @scozia
As @Matt_124 you'll need to store the kit. Bit of a shame really as it should be an environmental option with a discount on your bill.
Thanks

After all the main purpose of ordering a BB plan from an ISP is the actual BB connection to the network & beyond.
