my new iphone 12 mini is showing up as the wrong model.

My new iphone 12 mini shows up as the same model as my previous SE - this is in all the apple related apps etc, how can I change it to read correctly? I asked apple online support but they were unable to help so I might have to find a store to help unless someone here has a solution.

Do you mean in the My EE App? It does not matter and should change in time, it is just cosmetic. It has nothing to do with Apple, they obviously would not be able to help.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

thank you for replying, the wrong model shows in everything, in my car bluetooth, apple music, macbook finder etc.... apple support said I probably need to take it to a store to get it checked but there are none near me.

 

Would be great to get ti sorted as I still have the SE model...

I've never heard of that before, @pastyface.

 

I know they've mentioned going in-store, but have you tried the Apple community? One of the users there may have came across this before and be able to help you.
