The microphone on my iPhone XS no longer works so I am unable to make calls as nobody can hear me. How can I report this to EE so that I can order a replacement phone through the insurance scheme?

Welcome to the community, sorry to hear about your phone.
Have you tried backing up your iPhone and restoring it to factory settings? It could be a software fault causing this, and that's a possible fix.
