iPhone 12 and 12 Pro preorder thread

Saw that there was an XS/XS Max thread back in 2018 and fancied seeing if anyone would respond to a new one for the iPhone 12 preorders!

Ordered myself an 128GB iPhone 12 Pro in Pacific Blue, albeit it with minimal photos showing the new colour so I'm a little nervous as someone who's gone Silver for the past few years.

Order is currently sat at Order Confirmed, Awaiting Confirmation for the delivery date but I hope this evening (as per previous years) it changes to delivery for Friday.

What phones and experiences has everyone else had this year?

Yep, I still have ‘awaiting confirmation’ despite mŷ first email saying that I will get it on Launch day!

I’ve ordered mine on Saturday for the confirmation saying 23rd October, had to call on Sunday and then they to the payment, still awaiting confirmation. Gave up hope getting it tomorrow.

Wow, and you ordered yours just after pre orders opened, I guess it’s depends on which colour and model you chose..

Originally I was going to buy mine outright from Very.co.uk that’s how I normally do it, and go sim only! But I tried with Very and they sold out almost immediately after 1pm on the blue pro versions! 
I decided to go to EE because I get 20% perks discount and I could get the pro 256GB for £60 a month with 100GB, I thought that’s a pretty good deal so trying contract for a change (I’m sure I’ll regret that at some point)

ATM I have the XS Max using a Smarty sim, I like not being tied in.. And I get really good reception everywhere I go with Smarty which uses the Three network..

Status changed to dispatch expected in next 24hours.. no info form DPD yet, hopefully soon 🙂

Have the people with DPD info been given a time slot or just the 23rd?

I don’t mind the wait, the annoying thing in the email I got 23rd of October when I ordered on Saturday, I know know probably won’t get it tomorrow, it’s just now the wait between now and infinity 😅

Order changed from graphite on Friday to blue on Tuesday (they had to redo the whole package);

So basically on Tuesday

I’m thinking exactly the same, I’ve had Max iPhones since they launched them, maybe I should’ve gone for the max!!! 😳
