iPhone 12 and 12 Pro preorder thread

Saw that there was an XS/XS Max thread back in 2018 and fancied seeing if anyone would respond to a new one for the iPhone 12 preorders!

Ordered myself an 128GB iPhone 12 Pro in Pacific Blue, albeit it with minimal photos showing the new colour so I'm a little nervous as someone who's gone Silver for the past few years.

Order is currently sat at Order Confirmed, Awaiting Confirmation for the delivery date but I hope this evening (as per previous years) it changes to delivery for Friday.

What phones and experiences has everyone else had this year?

I’m showing as del tomorrow on the tracker, yet still not got a DPD notification

My order changed this morning to "Dispatch expected in 24 hours"

No text or email from DPD yet :(:(:(

I live in Northern Ireland so really hoping its not delayed by a day.  Anyone know if this is case because im not on the mainland?

Same here... no text or email or app notification from DPD, and still showing as dispatch expected in 24 hours and a delivery date of tomorrow...

To be fair with where I live ( Birmingham ) I don’t ever receive DPD notice until after 5pm for any iPhone orders ( I upgrade ever year through either EE or Sky Mobile ) so that’s when I’ll get my notice today from them

Interesting, never had DPD deliver an EE order so not sure what time to expect the notification to come through! Amazon tend to ship stuff before 10am but idk if thats just an Amazon thing

That's interesting.

I ordered mine originally on Friday 16th and had the colour amended on Tuesday (they had to do the order again). The first order only gave me an xko number in an email.

This second order however, I've not received any confirmation email or order number. I've received 2 texts pushed out by EE live chat support saying the order is confirmed and I'll receive a confirmation email within 24 hours. The other text says your order is confirmed and you'll receive delivery information soon. Nothing.

Despite this, the chat support agents think it's likely I'll receive the phone tomorrow. I'm not hopeful at this point if I can't even get a proper order confirmation.

Shockingly for the first time that I can remember when ordering from EE or Sky I’ve just received noticed from DPD saying my delivery will be tomorrow , never had this happen before so early in the day as it’s always after 5pm like I mentioned in my previous post , not even with Apple Watch series 6 that I got on launch from EE
