iPhone 12 and 12 Pro preorder thread

Saw that there was an XS/XS Max thread back in 2018 and fancied seeing if anyone would respond to a new one for the iPhone 12 preorders!

Ordered myself an 128GB iPhone 12 Pro in Pacific Blue, albeit it with minimal photos showing the new colour so I'm a little nervous as someone who's gone Silver for the past few years.

Order is currently sat at Order Confirmed, Awaiting Confirmation for the delivery date but I hope this evening (as per previous years) it changes to delivery for Friday.

What phones and experiences has everyone else had this year?

I'm waiting for mine too, I've had Samsung phones from the s3-s20 and decided to cross over 🤣

I hope the iPhone Pro 12 is worth it 🤞

Yeah I ordered the gold 128gb Pro Sunday 25th had order confirmed Monday 26th and nothing since?! Must be our own fault for ordering the most popular colour 😂 wish they could give an estimated date tho I've still had no updates

Just call and complain. I ordered Sunday 18th and it said delivery on the 23rd. I went on chat and was assured it would be by Monday 25th....It wasn't....Several calls and chat's I received yesterday.....I got blue 12gb Pro. Yes it is definitely worth the wait.  They clearly messed up and even the staff didn't know what was happening.  Wou;dn't be so bad if they informed people tho....

so how long from ordering to receiving a delivery date did it take? mine is stuck on awaiting confirmation, i spoke to EE and they said i just have to wait as there is a back order... 😞

Anywhere between 2 days and 2 months, depending on where the entirely random order system places you. It’s a bit like a fruit machine. Only less reliable.

They have until Tuesday. At which point I’m going to buy directly from Apple, and find my sim only deal from another network,

Apple website says orders will be delivered 16th - 23rd November if you order now - maybe Apple underestimated demand?

Not if you preorder the Max or mini early - which come out then.

Just had an update on my order from EE on their tracker.

ordered Pro 256GB in blue on 21st.

expected some time time next week, 2nd to 7th.

kinda ties in with what people are saying about 14 days from preorder even though I was told on the phone when pre ordering that I’d have it on the 24th. 

let’s hope it actually comes then...

Order confirmed 18th or October.

7 days ago had a order update of the 2-7th of November.

Today at 10 am received a text saying 

Hi Perry. We're sorry, there's been a change to your delivery date on order *******. This is due to a delivery delay from the manufacturer. To track your order blah blah blah

Biggest bunch of **bleep** I’ve ever experienced and I’m a new customer haven’t spent a day with EE yet and this is my introduction.

I ordered the 12 pro gold 128gb on 19th October and was advised it will be dispatched within 14 days and then got a update on Tuesday with estimated delivery date between 2-7 November and this morning received another email stating a delay of another week
