iPhone 12 Pro delay?

Pre-ordered the iPhone 12 Pro 128gb graphite in store and it was very much made to sound like I'd be able to collect it today. Now I'm being told the store don't have the delivery and it'll be tomorrow at the earliest? If that's the case why wasn't I told at the time of pre-order? Now I'll need to change weekend plans to collect it, extremely disappointed.

Lol I ordered mine on the 13th of October and mines due to arrive between November and January 😂😭 still have to pay for the contract though don’t I. 

Hey! How do you know to expect between now and Jan? I ordered mine way after you and haven’t heard any update, really wondering it’s worth cancelling and getting from my local phone shop.

Hi,

 

I ordered the 12 Pro in Silver on the 23rd. I’ve spoken to a few EE employees who’ve been really helpful but if the backlog is longer than the date I was told (19th) then I’m kind of concerned! Do you have an update on what’s happening with stock?

Sorry we don't have any estimated delivery timescales for that model. The delivery guidance when you placed your order was 'Order now. We will deliver to you as soon as we receive stock from our supplier'.

 

As soon as stock arrives to fulfil your order, you'll receive a text with tracking information.

No, there are different delivery timescales for each different model. You can view the latest timescales in our online shop.

Okay, thanks. I have actually just received an email saying I need to send my current phone for trade in by the 21st November. What do I do if I haven’t even received the new one? And will I have to pay the contract without even having the phone?
