I have been a happy customer for over 13 years now but sad to say am thinking of leaving EE. My upgrade time is nearly up and after the iPhone 12 Pro Max but am unwilling to pay £ 67 plus £100 upfront cost when I can get the same phone for £49 on sky mobile with no upfront cost. Why is ee so dear ?

EE contracts are for a minimum of two years, whereas I believe Sky contracts are for three years, also worth looking at the plans and what you get included with EE and what you get included with Sky. EE have never claimed to be the cheapest.
Have you spoken to Customer Service to see what they can offer and how much actual advance payment you will have to pay if you are upgrading? It can be worth speaking to them and see what they can offer.
Also, if you have the cellular watch, Sky do not offer this option, you would only be able to use the watch via bluetooth.

Thank you for your reply. Yes the contract would be for 3 years but not too bothered about that and calls and texting are the same. Internet is more on sky and a lot of the add ones I don’t use on EE so would not miss that . Thank you anyway for getting back to me

@mike220963 you are aware over the course of these two contracts that EE contact actually is the cheaper one
67 X 24 + 100 = £1708. EE 24 month contract
49 X 36 = £1764. Sky 36 month contract.
And your not happy about what exactly ?
anything over a longer period of time will be less per month but more costly over all. So you will pay less per month with sky but it will cost you more as it’s a longer term.
