iPhone 12 Pro - 256GB - Graphite

Hi,

I ordered the iPhone 12 Pro - 256GB - Graphite on 09 December 2020

The early upgrade cost and the phone cost has been debited from my account but I have heard nothing on the order or any estimated delivery date

Given the early upgrade fee was rather expensive and reduces on a weekly basis, I am somewhat frustrated that the costs have been taken without the phone being available, especially given the early upgrade fee would of been cheaper when the phone does become available

What is the estimated delivery date for this model and do EE intend on refunding me the early upgrade fee difference between my order date and the date I finally receive my device?

Hi @RichSharkley

Welcome to the community.

We'll deliver to you as soon as we receive stock from the manufacturer.

If you would like to discuss your order and early upgrade fees, I'd recommend speaking to our Mobile Care team who have access to your account and will be able to help you.

Thanks for your patience so far.

Chris

Hi,

Thanks for your response

I spoke with the Care Team and it was apparent that this could take significant time to arrive, without any clear estimate of possible delivery times

Given this information I decided to cancel the upgrade. If I do decide to go ahead with an upgrade later next year (when stock is actually available) it will also be cheaper with the early upgrade fee being significantly reduced to correctly reflect when the upgrade would take place

Given EE's lack of commitment to this whole debacle though, I am more likely to let me contract expire and possibly port my number elsewhere, which is a shame as I have been an Orange customer for 11 years prior to them becoming EE

Thanks

Rich
