Hi everyone!
So, I placed an order for the iPad Mini 2021 with 256gb storage about 2 weeks ago.
At first I ordered it in purple, but I changed my order to Space Grey.
Obviously at the moment there is hardly any stock of Apple products in the Uk, due to component shortages, and also the lack or lorry drivers.
Just wondering if anyone has taken delivery of their iPad mini 2021 yet…and if so which colour and storage option did you go for?
I’ve been keeping an eye on Apple’s own supply of the iPad mini (cellular 256gb) and it seems they have regular deliveries and stock available in most Apple stores. EE however, just don’t seem to have any stock at all.
Hoping mine will arrive soon. Still excited, but after a lot of waiting…the excitement is rapidly fading away 🤷🏻♂️

I myself ordered a IPad 2021 start of October. Called 150 CS to be told it’s out of stock. It’s coming up to three weeks now, just wondering how much longer or rough estimate as saying to check daily dpd app isn’t ideal. Also why show the item is in stock if it isn’t?
the order tracker does not work, even with previous purchases it wouldn’t work.
Please EE help me with this, I purchased this as I wish to use it for my university studies.

I have checked this and the current guidance is to expect despatch more than 28 days from ordering.

This sounds like positive movement on your order.
Have you tried tracking it using our online order tracker?
DPD will send you a text when your order is ready to be delivered.

Okay so I’m now nearing the 28 days since ordering. Still no update. When I call CS they say the same. Everywhere else has the iPad in stock…this is not the best service. If it takes a month-three months at least let the paying customer know. I’m failing to understand how you can accept an order and say it’s on its way. Then only after multiple enquiries they say it’s out of stock.
May I add when I ordered the product it stated IN STOCK. Only after a week plus it then changed to the “28 days after order” message was updated. For a company that boasts service and customer reviews year after year I’m failing to see this.
My frustration is aired, even though I know the same response is coming my way. Surely take this on as feedback EE. I’m not the only one going through this.

Absolutely shocking , the company can’t even give a delivery window like other companies do , it’s the lack of communication that annoys me the most , I wish I had ordered and paid outright from apple direct , I even paid £247 early upgrade fee as well , paying off my contract 6 months early !

Once we receive stock from the manufacturer, we'll clear the orders on a first come, first served basis.
DPD will be in touch when it's ready to deliver.
