Hello. Recently I changed my PAYG SIM into an eSIM. The problem is that now I am abroad and I activated the eSIM while I was not in the UK. I can receive SMS with security codes or marketing SMS from EE but I cannot call or receive calls nor send SMS even if I want to reply to a SMS sent by EE. How can I solve this issue? Thank you!

Welcome to the EE Community,

 

EE do not support esims on pay as you go you will need to swap back to a physical sim that can only be done within the U.K.

One more question, if I change my current PAYG pack into a Pay Monthly plan within the EE website while I am abroad, can I use afterwards my current eSIM to make and receive phone calls?

Hi @manu_e_ll 

 

to move between PAYG & PAYM you need to be within the U.K. you would keep the same sim but your billing account will change.
