Would EE accept Yoti in-store if I wanted to get a replacement SIM? last time I asked for a replacement SIM they asked for my passport which I don't carry with me, but Yoti makes a "Digital ID" out of your passport and citizencard if you have one (EE don't accept that despite having my full name, age and photo on) obviously that is up to them and legal regulations

Why not just take in your passport?
Or you can order a SIM online, via 150.
Thanks

No they wouldn't accept Your. And neither would any reputable store selling she related products. This yoti app is pointless it doesn't prove your age it's easily faked and the person wouldn't be able to tell of its a fake passport or not
Just take your passport in with you on the day you get a replacement SIM then out the passport back where you keep it.

I would usually take my passport (if it was planned), but it was a spur of the moment thing while in York to swap from an eSIM back to physical - I ended up calling from McDonalds that same day, lmao
