Xbox Series X Customer Update Needed

Hey,

 

I'm creating this post for myself and all the other customer who have ordered the xbox series x as an add on product. EE needs to provide a clear update as to what is happening with our orders. I have heard some customers say their orders have been cancelled and that a back office team is dealing with the demand however we can't get in touch to ask whether your own order will be fulfilled or not

 

If you are facing these questions please add onto this post. Otherwise please will someone provide an update as to whether orders will be fulfilled or not.

thanks for nothing ee. had to ring up today to find out what is going on with our order only to be told THERE IS NO ORDER. no record of an order or anything. 10 mins after the call we get an email saying you are out of stock. absolute joke as i had a series x in a basket with another store whilst buying from yous so lost out there aswell. dont listen to the advisor here and ring ee to find out whats happening with orders

I ordered the console by calling the team and paid a £10 deposit. I was told that the console had sold out, but that would receive the Xbox around December 2nd. Checked the website and nothing was on my account, no text, no email nothing. 

 

I called back and was put through to someone who told me that it had been cancelled. I asked why and that I had paid a deposit. They told me that, it says cancelled because they have no stock, but assured me that I would get it in December. 

 

Called again and was told that they can't put people on back order, and that I wouldn't get a console at all. I asked about the deposit and they said, we have take £10 of your next bill. When I asked why I wasn't informed it had been cancelled, they informed me that it was "strange" they offered me an extra £10 for their mistake. 

 

Shocking customer service. Don't expect them to honour their contact with you, even if you pay a deposit it means nothing. EE are liars and have a digital team that make and change rules on the fly with zero respect for customers who have spent thousands with them over the years. Total joke. 

Same issue i give up!!
