hi I've just transferred my number from Vodafone to EE. It all works alright, only problem is on my mobile I can still see number originally assigned to EE new sim that I've received. I did transfer my number before few times and never had that problem before. It's definitely not the mobiles fault as I've done transfer recently on the same device but different networks. So looks like issue is clearly related to EE network, sim or something...
Please help

The number within the about phone settings does nothing.
It doesn't effect the phone or your plan.
If you ring EE and wait on the phone to get an advisor during these busy times then you can ask for a network refresh but this may not work as intended as it may just change the number to all 0s
