Wi Fi weak spots

There are some flat spots upstairs for WiFi. Does EE have any signal boosters for different rooms

Have you considered WiFi Extenders ? They carry the signal over your mains electricity.

The above is good advice. Please see the below link to help you select the best option.

 

Personally I recommend powerline adapters (plus WiFi access point away from router) over WiFi extenders, and the Devolo brand is a very good choice. Other brands are available.

 

(Powerline adapters use electrical wiring to carry data and this is different functionality from a WiFi access point. Many powerline adapters do not have the additional WiFi functionality.)

 

What is a wi-fi extender? A wi-fi extender (or wi-fi booster) is used to amplify and repeat the wireless signal from your router to expand its coverage. It helps to rebroadcast the signal to where the wi-fi may be weak or non-existent.
