Upgrade tablet

I have just contacted EE to upgrade my daughters tablet just to a sim deal, as the tablet is still in very good condition, we've been sent a new sim with a new number, can you not keep your existing number with a tablet?

Just continue using your old SIM. A new 1 is sent just in case.
