Hi,

I'm not very good at technology and I am panicking a little bit. I have just had an upgrade and my new phone came with a new sim card. But I have just put it in my new phone and the its showing a different number. I need to keep my original number ,can anyone advise please?

Massive thanks

Panicky Soph

Does your old SIM fit? If so, continue using it. A new SIM is sent with an upgrade phone just in case it doesn't fit or otherwise doesn't work.

Hi @Sophied2,

Welcome to the community 🙂

I can see that you have already had the correct information from @XRaySpeX.

Did you complete your upgrade directly with EE over the phone or via your My EE Account?

Your old number should also transfer to the new SIM card so you can use either SIM in your new phone.

Alex 🙂

It does fit! Thank you so much, I was really panicking that I was about to lose my number I've had for years. Thank you so much for you help. Stay safe 🙂

Thanks for your reply.  I have now out my old sim into my new phone and fingers crossed its working. Thank you for your help. Stay safe 🙂

Hi @Sophied2,
