Upgrade discount, Friends ad Family

I am trying to upgrade my sim only contract to a handset contract on the new iPhone 13 pro. However it is automatically applying a small upgrade discount which is preventing me from using the friends and family discount code. Is there a way to disable the upgrade discount to avail of the f&f code?

The best thing to do would be to get your friend or family member to get in touch with our friends and family team so they can sort this for you.
